  2. Join a room with a short code and play as a guest, or sign in to keep your profile and progress
  3. Published on the App Store and Google Play from one product, with premium categories as in-app purchases

Overview

What it had to solve

A party game only works if getting everyone into the same round takes seconds. GERAPPA puts several games behind one lobby: a player opens the app, joins a room with a short code, and the host configures the round — category, table size, starting capital, time per question — before the game starts. Progress can be kept with an account or skipped entirely in guest mode, and extra categories are sold as premium unlocks. The same product ships on iOS and Android.

The home screen is a game hub, so the group picks and starts without leaving the app.

Focus

Rooms Joined by Code

Multiplayer is built around the fastest way to gather a group that is already in the same room.

Configurable Rounds and Premium Content

The host tunes the round, and the paid tier is part of the same flow.

Modules

What was built

Several Games, One Lobby

The home screen is a game hub, so the group picks and starts without leaving the app.

  • Game catalog covering Mafia, Triviador, Spy and Charades, plus a random-game shortcut
  • Player profile with avatar and a personal game code in the header
  • Georgian and English game content inside the same build

Rooms Joined by Code

Multiplayer is built around the fastest way to gather a group that is already in the same room.

  • Join Game flow that takes a short room code instead of friend lists or invites
  • Guest mode for players who do not want an account, sign-in for those who keep progress
  • Host and participant roles so one phone drives the round

Configurable Rounds and Premium Content

The host tunes the round, and the paid tier is part of the same flow.

  • Round configuration: category, table size, starting capital and time per question
  • Free base categories with premium ones unlocked through in-app purchase
  • Rules and scoring explained on the game screen before the round starts

Shipped to Both Stores

The product exists as a released app, not a prototype.

  • Live on the App Store (iOS 14 and later) and on Google Play
  • Store listings, screenshots, ratings and data-safety declarations prepared for review
  • Update pipeline in place — the app receives new releases after launch
