Case Study

BookAirAmb

A booking desk for air ambulance missions: a triage-aware request form, a route price calculator and a browser call button, in two languages

  1. Capture route, mobility level and diagnosis in one request, so the desk can quote instead of calling back
  2. Show an indicative route price before a conversation starts, instead of "contact us for pricing"
  3. Serve English and Russian enquiries from the same site, with a 24/7 desk reachable by phone, WhatsApp or browser call

Overview

What it had to solve

Someone arranging a medical flight is usually doing it in the worst week of their life — a relative in a foreign hospital, an insurer asking for numbers, no idea what any of it costs. A generic contact form makes that worse: the desk has to call back three times before it can even quote. This site is built so that one submission carries the route, the patient's mobility level and the diagnosis, and so that the cost range is visible before the first conversation.

Modules

What was built

A Request Form Built Around Triage

The form asks what a flight coordinator needs to plan the mission.

  • Service, departure and destination given as a city or the hospital itself, with an optional date
  • Mobility captured as a level — walking, wheelchair, stretcher or intensive care and ventilated
  • Diagnosis and patient age alongside the requester's details, with explicit consent to process the data for a quote

Route Price Calculator

The cost question is answered on the site, not held back for a call.

  • Departure and destination picked from the countries the desk actually serves, then aircraft class and level of care
  • Indicative minimums and range per class — light jet, midsize, long range and commercial stretcher or escort
  • Payment routes stated up front: bank transfer, a secure card link, or direct billing to the insurer

Two Languages and a 24/7 Desk

Every path to the dispatch desk is one tap from anywhere on the site.

  • English and Russian versions on their own routes, with per-service and per-aircraft pages in both
  • Call from the browser with no app, SIM or phone number, plus WhatsApp and the direct dispatch number
  • Fleet pages with cruise speed and range per aircraft, and a news section for repatriation and cost guidance
